UAE trade delegation to visit Hungary to enhance economic cooperation

ABU DHABI, 12th September, 2015 (WAM) — Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy is leading a UAE delegation to Hungary this coming Monday aimed at boosting economic, trade and investment cooperation with the central European country.

 

 

The visit will focus on enhancing cooperation in agriculture, food industries, tourism, innovation, technology and energy, air transport, pharmaceutical industries and health care, in addition to infrastructure, transport, education, youth and sports and the management of water resources sectors.

The delegation will also discuss opportunities of increasing trade exchange as well as reviewing the available investment opportunities in various sectors for the Emirati investors and businessmen.

The delegation include Mohammed Ahmed bin Abdul Aziz Al Shehhi, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Economy for Economic Affairs, Dr. Matar Hamed Al Neyadi, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Energy, Abdul Hadi Abdul Wahid Al Khaja, the UAE Ambassador to Austria and non-resident Ambassador to Hungary, other officials, representatives of local and federal economic and trade bodies and a number of businessmen.

Al Mansouri emphasised the keenness of the UAE under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to enhance cooperation with friendly countries in all fields, especially in the economic, trade and investment domains which would contribute to achieving joint interests.

He added that the delegation visit to Hungary will pave the way for a new era of cooperation especially in the economic, trade and investment fields between the two countries. WAM/Hazem/AAMIR
