CBP Deploys Biometric Exit Technology To George Bush Intercontinental Airport
HOUSTON — U.S. Customs and Border Protection deployed facial recognition biometric exit technology today to George Bush Intercontinental Airport for one daily flight from the United States to Tokyo. The deployment builds upon a June 2016 pilot at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport using facial recognition. CBP recently deployed the technology to Washington Dulles International Airport at the end of May and future deployments are planned for additional airports this summer.
