The PATA Adventure Travel and Responsible Tourism Conference & Mart 2016 (ATRTCM 2016) takes place in the delightful and historic northern Thailand city of Chiang Rai with the theme ‘Creating Experiences, Sharing Opportunities’.

This niche event is very well established within the PATA calendar and comprises a one day conference, followed by a one day mart. The move to Chiang Rai follows very successful events in Nepal and Bhutan.

It brings together a broad cross-section of travel and tourism industry professionals keen to enhance their knowledge and experience of environmental protection and social sustainability.

This event has also proved to be a catalyst for generating new ideas and improving cooperation and collaboration between public and private sector organisations.

PATA is delighted to announce that the PATA Adventure Travel and Responsible Tourism Conference & Mart 2016 is being held in Chiang Rai with the help, support and sponsorship of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT).

The program content is now being finalized and will be posted here once confirmed.

At this stage we expect to be welcoming guests to a reception hosted by the TAT on the evening of 17 February with the conference taking place on February 18 and the mart being held on February 19.

A complimentary half-day tour is set to be included in the program with delegates also able to enjoy the opportunity of selecting other tours during their stay in Chiang Rai.

Registration details will also be announced soon.
