NEW YORK, NY – (July 29, 2016) – Travel to Martinique, the petit corner of France in the Caribbean, will be easy for U.S. travelers once again during the winter 2016-2017 period as Norwegian Air has announced it will resume seasonal service connecting three major gateways in the Northeast with the island beginning November 10, 2016. The news follows Norwegian’s successful inaugural 2015-2016 winter season serving Martinique from the U.S. mainland.

“Norwegian’s continuing winter service to Fort-de-France sends a strong and positive signal to the U.S. market further confirming Martinique’s status as an attractive destination for U.S. travelers,” said Muriel Wiltord, Director Americas for the Martinique Promotion Bureau. “With these nonstop flights, an escape from the winter cold in the Northeast to warm and sunny Martinique is exponentially easier and more affordable to achieve than at any time in the past 20 years. We look forward to welcoming more Americans this winter and validating Martinique’s ranking as one of the ‘Top 16 places to go in 2016’ by Condé Nast Traveler“.
