Dubai World Central showcases World Class Aviation offering at MRO Americas 2015

The Aviation District of Dubai World Central (DWC) is showcasing its world-class offering at the 20th MRO Americas Conference and Exhibition taking place from April 14-16 at Miami, Florida, USA.

The annual event, organised by Penton’s Aviation Week, explores the future of aviatioDWC aviation district dubain and defense maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) through a series of drill-down discussions and networking opportunities.

Over 10,000 industry professionals and government representatives are expected to be in attendance. The event features the industry’s largest exhibition floor, which showcases more than 700 solution providers to communicate actionable solutions, build contacts and exchange ideas.

Referring to DWC’s participation in the event, Tahnoon Saif, Vice President, DWC’s Aviation District, said: “Our presence at the conference and exhibition is in line with DWC’s strategy to promote its role as facilitators of the aviation and aerospace sectors.

The DWC Aviation District is a 6.7 square kilometer master planned district and adjacent to Al Maktoum International Airport.

It offers ready-to-build world-class aviation infrastructure as part of Dubai’s strategic vision for the aviation sector.

Beyond its aviation focus, the district will also offer well-defined zones for sectors such as hospitality, education, research and development, and mixed-used development.
