Bangladesh: Cricket tournament brings camaraderie and confidence to players

The 5-nation International Cricket Tournament for People with Physical Disabilities successfully concluded on 10 September, with England crowned the winner.

The event, inaugurated by Her Excellency Sheikh Hasina, Honorable Prime Minister of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, is the first multination cricket tournament of its kind.

Teams from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, England, India and Pakistan participated in the event, demonstrating that disability is not a hurdle to pursuing a dream.
